Sheikhoo was a name that hit me the wrong way whenever I passed by it; always made me wonder. It seemed to be out of place with all the mondelanos, nandos, freddys around. So we did what we had to; explore. Lucky for us we got invited to pay a visit to the place. This place had tia maria in its days and now its all gone sheikhoo. Entering from the left of the building the alley caught our attention with its open air setting and suddenly the idea of outdoor dining seemed all too enticing. But we...Read More

Hot fuzon was one of those places that always intrigued us in a peculiar way. Honestly, we were never too sure of what it was all about ; a cafe, a coffee place, a gourmet restaurant or a sheesha bar? To rid ourselves of all preconceived notions we were invited by the Hot Fuzon team themselves. A deal that was hard to refuse even at gun point.
We reached there at midnight and were surprised to see flocks of people still there even on a weeknight. But it did not take us long to hijack the place...Read More

Arizona Grill, a name famous for its steaks and being in one of the most expensive shopping malls of Lahore, recently established a new branch in Y Block, DHA. One essential feature that all the posh restaurants in this area overlook is parking space. Arizona Grill (AG) tries to make up for this lack of parking space by offering valet service. So that the valet can rid you of your worries. However, I would still hold that against the owner's plan. The management is very well mannered and gives y...Read More

Ok I had to do this. I had to find out what the fuss was about once I ate the superstar. There I said to myself this cant be the best that Hardees has to offer ‘cuz it aint that good’. So I decided on trying the others. It took me a couple of trips till I could come up with the conclusion hence the time that this researched consumed was the most time consuming I have done in my life. I hope I could’ve worked this hard for my college.
Anyways, this time around we decided on getting differ...Read More

Lahore is all about eating out; that is why tossdown.com was born here and now the Hardees Boys are in town. Somehow they have had a good research done, so it seems, chose the best place to launch their brand and they weren’t disappointed at all. I am sure every management will feel fluffy to see people killing to get inside to have a ‘piece of their meat’ as they call it at hardees. We were lucky to squeeze in at the mark and when we saw a long line we were a bit perplexed, couldn’t dec...Read More

We have always been keen on finding good quality burgers in Lahore. Unfortunately though we have a lot of restaurants but we couldn’t find our perfect burger meals. The ones we found were expensive but yes they are very very good. But this time around we were looking for something that was big on the tummy, light on the pocket and yes with no compromise on the taste. Guess what? We just found the right place; Burger Hub. Located at the food hub of Defence H block market, this take-away burger ...Read More

The "Paratha Roll" in Lahore is - hands down - the best snack you can grab on the go. You can get it almost anywhere now, till very late at night too. But the real deal is in finding the real deal. Highly recommended ones are Silverspoon in Liberty and Karachi BBQ in Defence. The scrumptious rolls come in chicken and beef fillings – with your choice of dressing. The list to choose from includes bihari, mayo, tikka and so on. Since the parathas are quite greasy – the delicious wraps are bes...Read More

Ok confusing title, we know because it started with a confusion. The moment we parked the cars we were swarmed by people saying they are the real ‘Butt’. I know funny that it sounds, but we were like ‘We never even asked’ and like they say when you insist, we doubt. And when in doubt go with your gut! We stood their deciding for a couple minutes and finally guessed who the original was. You can’t imagine how we guessed it but it was the eatout with an older shabbier board- that simple ...Read More

This was a lunch I still lick my lips thinking back on! The fact that I was being treated by a good friend made it even more delicious. We were unable to find the restaurant easily, which is one down side of it, however, the seclusion actually made it more charming.
The ambiance initially struck me as laid back and mediocre but as we settled down I noticed that the management had turned on only essential lights. Which is a good power saving mindfulness that is absent in most other people. Th...Read More

Two out of three isn't bad now is it?! For a restaurant unfortunately it is! Case in point...Veloce. Let us begin stripping this, excuse for a, restaurant down bit by bit. I felt the venue was a last minute change of thought where the owner who was making it a take away decided to add a dine in section at the last minute. Not a good idea. There is some space upstairs but if one large family or group of friends occupies that area the entire restaurant runs out of space! The table we were given wa...Read More
