California Grill wz one of my fav hangout places but i wz seriously disappointed aftr having their ramzan aftar buffet...had been seeing that "only 999" add for a couple of weeks so decided to check out it out with my friends....sad to say it wz horrible...
on one side they had aftari items which included samosas,pakoras,vege rolls, chicken wings n shaami kababs...none of the above items tasted gud...the kababs were too spicy...n the chicken wings were't dat good either...
on the dinner table side, the main courses included mashed potatoes (which were kind of good)...then chicken lasagne which tasted jst ok (i've ordered this once in their restaurant before n then it wz waaay better)... then they had beef straganoff, the sauce wz gud but the meat wz definitely overcooked...then there wz a dish named "chicken mushroom steak", whn i lifted the lid i wz shocked to c finger sized steaks, nevr knew steaks cud b this small :D but dats not the worst part....worst part wz it wz MUTTON...n not evn a nicely cooked mutton...jst took one bite n had to chew it for a couple of min before i cud push it down my throat with coke...then there wz sum prawn dish, the prawns tasted bland...then there wz chicken mexicana...that wz da only dish that tasted good (although the chicken wz a bit overcooked, but still it wz waaay better than the othr dishes)....then there wz rice and chinese soup...rice were good but da soup wz equally bad as the othr items on the menu...
i loooove all sorts of "meetha" n that is whn i genuinely started hating this place...the dishes were all empty whn i went there....n no one wz bothering to fill them up again...n the dessert items v did taste, they weren't dat gud eithr...
n aftr such a horrible experience, v had to pay 1300 each for the meal...da complementary drink v got wz limo pani i guess...so v had to order drinks...
my advice, plzzzz go sumplace else...dnt waste ur money on such a terrible aftari buffet....
