As far as my food expedition in Canada goes, this place is my favorite. 2 reasons - 1. I love desserts, 2. You can site down read the menu with ease and order while asking consulting with the order taker - unlike the places where you are sweating just because you havent decided and your next in line (so much like school) So the waitress spared a moment when we asked her to suggest us the best 2 items on the menu. I said I want something 'fruity' which is a term taken with a 'raised eyebrow' in north america but thats the way it goes :) I am already introducing myself as a 'FOB' everywhere anyways. Who cares! :p So we ordered the Vanilla Waffle and a Strawberry Crepe. And after 5 mins the waitress brought the most gorgeous desserts on a plate. Heaven Sent! I had not seen such generous servings of desserts before (I really am a FOB you see ;) ) and because they messed with my order and brought me a 'vanilla' crepe instead of the 'strawberry' I had to return it and began digging on the only dessert that was there on the table. My friend regretted that offer but then it was too late. The waffle was just great and the fresh fruit on top were just great addition to the taste. By the time my orginal order showed up I couldnt even look at it. It was a full meal so I just nibbled here and there and left more than half of it. So first up if you are 2 people I'd recommend you start by ordering one dessert. Overall this place has become my favorite dessert place mainly because of their hefty dessert servings and a decent environment. It can hurt your pocket a bit though. Dessert for 2 people costed us about 30 bucks. p.s. Try the drinks too, they are just as good! read less
